Let's hope Charlie Lynch is the last person persecuted prosecuted for breaking federal drug laws in California where his medical marijuana dispensary was and is still perfectly legal. Check out the whole story here. When it comes to government if it's not hypocrisy it's bullshit and if it's not bullshit it's hypocrisy. Now that big government and Keynesian bilge is in vogue I'm not surprised or deterred by the people who mock Reagan's 'government is the problem' quip back in the day. I'm not surprised because there are lots of people who just started paying attention when Obama made the scene and, according to him, government will fix everything. I'm not deterred because government cannot fix everything and America's ruling Center Class will tire of paying these bills then vote the other way. The big government (D) that hopefully lets the Charlie Lynchs go free will be replaced by the big government (R) that ran him down in the first place. Has anyone ever heard of the Libertarian Party?

US Drug Czar Gil Kerlikowske is going to eliminate the War on Drugs! Actually, he's going to tone down the rhetoric surrounding the WOD. So, we've got that going for us, which isn't nice. This is the wane cycle of the eternal republicratic war on drugs wax and wane cycle. Republican administrations take it up a notch so their "base" of merry christian teetotalers can sleep at night knowing armed men and women are chasing, beating and jailing potheads then Democratic administrations de-emphasize the nonsense but never eliminate it because (?). Because it doesn't involve a new massive social program? Personal liberty isn't the top action item for either party ever so this will go on for a very long time the same way. Obama could have been the guy to set it straight but he's not playing so he owns this Obummer.
